Accuser Says East Stroudsburg University VP Groped, Gave Unwelcome Gifts

SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) — A former student is telling jurors he wishes he never met the high-ranking state university administrator he says groped him and gave him unwelcomed gifts.

The 26-year-old man is testifying Tuesday at a federal civil-rights trial stemming from a lawsuit he and two other former students filed against Isaac Sanders in 2009.

They say the ex-East Stroudsburg University vice president sexually harassed and assaulted them while they were students.

The 26-year-old man says Sanders grabbed his genitals while driving back to campus, paid for a summer class without being asked and gave him underwear as a gift.

The man says he never wanted any of it.

Sanders, who's never been charged with a crime, denies wrongdoing.

His attorney questioned the 26-year-old about inconsistencies in his testimony and an earlier deposition.
