Accidents Causing Major Delays on I-76, NJ Turnpike
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Two separate accidents are causing traffic issues during the Friday morning commute.
One lane was closed on westbound I-76 near Montgomery Drive due to a serious accident earlier in the morning. This is also causing problems on the Westbound Vine Street Expressay as well as gaper delays on eastbound I-76.
In New Jersey, a tractor trailer hit a median, resulting in part of the trailer being split in two pieces. This happened just after 4:30 a.m. near Route 168. Rock salt spilled on both sides of the turnpike as a result, causing 1 lane in each direction to close. All other lanes remained open.
