NE Extension Southbound Between Lansdale And Quakertown Reopens Following Accident

QUAKERTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- The southbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Northeast Extension between the Quakertown and Lansdale exits has reopened following a crash involving a tractor trailer.

Police say the accident happened around 5 a.m. Saturday when a tanker truck rolled down an embankment.

The driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

It is not immediately clear what the truck was carrying.

No other vehicles were involved.
