Accident Near I-95 Turns Into Police Chase In Northeast Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say a minor accident near I-95 led to a police chase through Northeast Philadelphia Sunday.

Pa. State Police were on the scene in the area following the vehicle as it left the scene just after 6 p.m..

The chase ended at Rhawn and Jackson Streets in the Holmesburg section of the city when the vehilce took a turn too fast and crashed into a fence.

The driver then got out of the car and led police on a brief foot chase before he was stunned with a taser and taken into custody.
