Route 1 Bypass Reopens After Accident Involving Leaking Propane Truck

CHESTER COUNTY, P.A. (CBS) -- The Route 1 bypass between Newark Rd. and Route 82 in Kennett Township has reopened after being closed for several hours as a result of an accident involving a leaking propane truck that overturned.
Police say that only the tanker was involved in the accident. Authorities believe the most likely cause of the accident were the road conditions due to the ice.
According to authorities, no injuries have been reported at this time.
Officials say that hazmat crews were on the scene to clean up fluid that was leaking onto the roadway.
