AAA: Holiday Travel May Reach An All-Time High

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – If you're heading out of town this holiday season, you are not alone.

Travel is expected to hit an all-time high.

Nearly one-third of the nation's population is expected to travel during this holiday season.

AAA says some 100 million people will venture at least 50 miles from home between December 23 and January 3.

Over the last seven years, more and more Americans have celebrated the holidays away from home.
