A Pop-Up Store For Entrepreneurs In Center City
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A local entrepreneur is pulling out all the stops in an effort to jump start local small businesses.
Jen Groover has been running small businesses for more than 20 years.
She said she's made some mistakes, but has had her share of successes.
Now, she's set up a free "pop-up store for entrepreneurs" at 1505 Walnut St. in Philadelphia.
"So I thought what if I take all my life experiences and all my knowledge and I can simplify the start-up and growth process for other small business owners. And, what if we could do it in a store," Groover said. "And what if we put a thousand people through that store and all the brand partners could give free services."
Groover said her partners offer a variety of services.
"A free app, or free business cards, or a free video for your website. What could that do for small businesses when they can save thousands of dollars?"
She said she'll be there ready and willing to help until Friday.
