A Day For Your Pets In Chestnut Hill

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- If you love pets of any kind, Chestnut Hill in Philadelphia was the place for you today.

Martha Sharky is with the Chestnut Hill business district.

"We also have all kinds of fun activities for four legged friends and two legged friends as well. we have a photo booth, a caricaturist and we have all kinds of exhibitors here joining us," Sharky said.

Pennolopee and her pup Dandy came out to make new human and animal friends.

"He's had many treats and drunk water out of many places and gotten all kinds of toys," she said.

Mark and brought his cattle dog Brooklyn out so she could get some new toys, play with some other dogs and enjoy one of her favorite past times.

"She's really into Frisbee, she likes running down Frisbee, that's her thing," Mark said.

The event also raised money for different animal rescues and nonprofit pet organizations, and people who came out also got a chance to adopt a pet of their own.
