A Brief Summer Setback, Replaced With A Weekend Winner

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Thursday May 29th will be quite the contrast to earlier in the week. Temperatures in the upper 80s have been replaced with highs that will fail to get out of the 60s. The backdoor cold front we discussed yesterday will slowly move through and linger to the south, which could set off a shower or two later today. Other than that, it will be mostly cloudy and chilly.
Tomorrow we get a bit of a rebound as temperatures should be about 10 degrees warmer. We should also see some sun before a late day cold front brings scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Once that moves out, high pressure surges in and sets us up for a fantastic weekend, abundant sunshine and comfortable temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. A winner, if you ask me!
