PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- We know that drinking more water is good for us. There a tremendous advantages of proper hydration and substituting water for soda and high sugar products has many advantages.

Now there is news from a New York based study which looked at installation of so called water jets or electrically cooled large water dispensers, in elementary and middle schools.

What the researchers found is that it was linked to a small but statistically significant decline in weight among students. The scientists were able to track dietary choices of the students as well. These water dispensers even appeared to affect milk sales in the cafeteria, with significant decreases seen for plain and chocolate-flavored products.
