A Missing Letter Costs $4,000 In Montgomery County

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Looks like some new signs around Montgomery County are missing something.
The signs identify county buildings or parks, at the bottom they list county commissioner's names.
"Lo and behold there was a typo in them, the word commissioner only had one 'm'."
Montgomery County spokesman Frank Custer says about 50 panels needed to be changed, the good news those panels are designed to be removable and changeable since commissioners change office.
"The funny thing, the signs at the parks have been up for months. No one had brought it to our attention until we heard about the one at the courthouse."
Changes will be done by the end of the week, with a price tag of about $4,000.
