PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A 64-year-old man is recovering after an attempted robbery turned violent in West Philadelphia. The incident happened before 10 a.m. at 40th Street and Fairmount Avenue.
Officials say the man was taken to the hospital by paramedics with a stab wound to the shoulder.
His condition is unknown.
An investigation is underway.
