61-Year-Old Man Found Dead And Beaten In Abandoned Business In Swedesboro

SWEDESBORO, NJ (CBS) – A 61-year-old man was found dead and beaten at an abandoned business in Swedesboro, NJ on Wednesday, according to officials.

An autopsy by the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office revealed his death was the result of a homicide. Authorities say the man identified as Sylvester Combs Jr., had sustained blunt force head injuries.

Combs was reportedly known by township police to frequent the trailer, where he had sustained blunt force head injuries.

Police allegedly began looking for Combs after it was reported that he had not been seen for several days.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office and Woolwich Township Police Department are currently still investigating.
