$5,000 Reward Offered in 2012 Norristown Cold-Case Murder

By Jim Melwert

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- Authorities in Norristown are hoping a reward will bring someone forward as they continue to investigate the Christmas Day 2012 murder of a 24-year-old man.

Paul Brown was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his body inside a car on Scott Alley, in Norristown, just before 5pm on Christmas Day, 2012.

His family told reporters Brown was on his way to Christmas dinner when he was killed.

Investigators say neighbors told them they heard gunshots but no one saw what happened.

The Montgomery County district attorney's office and Norristown Borough police are hoping a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction will bring someone forward to help the investigation.
