5-Year-Old Boy Struck By Car In Florence Township, New Jersey

FLORENCE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) -- A 5-year-old boy was injured after he was hit by a car in Florence Township, New Jersey.

It happened just after 7 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Broad and West Fourth Streets.

The boy was airlifted to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

Police say the driver stayed on the scene and was not injured.

There was no word on any charges.

The accident is still under investigation.
