4 Homes Evacuated In South Philly For A Gas Main Break

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)—Crews are responding to a gas leak on the 2500 block of South Mole Street.

PGW says they have found the source of the gas main break and are currently working to repair the 4 inch rupture.

So far, four homes have been evacuated and nine properties in the area have had their gas service turned off as a precaution.

PGW says there is no estimate at this time when service will be restored.

There are no reported injuries.
