3 Local Towns Make List Of America's Best Small Beach Towns
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Thrillist has released a roundup of America's best small beach towns, and three local towns made the cut.
The digital lifestyle brand included Cape May, N.J., Ocean Grove N.J. and Rehoboth Beach, Del. on its list of the 14 best small beach towns in America.
When discussing the New Jersey beach towns, Thrillist describes Cape May as "where visitors enjoy calm ocean breezes, historic Victorian homes," while "Ocean Grove is easily the most eye-catching beach town in the state."
Thrillist mentioned Rehoboth's boardwalk right along the ocean, saltwater taffy and amusement park.
New Jersey and California had two beach towns make the list, while Florida had the most with three.
