By Molly Daly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a triple shooting in the Juniata section of the city.

It happened around noon Monday in the 4200 block of Malta Street.

Police say a 42-year-old male was apparently arguing with his girlfriend's sister and her 21-year-old son.

That man then shot himself and the two victims.

All three were transported to local hospitals with head and upper body wounds, where the 40-year-old female later died.

There is no information on the conditions of the other two people involved.
