3 Firefighters Hurt Battling Blaze At Malvern Home

MALVERN, Pa. (CBS) – Officials say three firefighters were injured putting out a fire at a home in Chester County Sunday night.

The fire was reported just after 7 p.m. in the attic of the home located on the unit block of Highland Hill Lane in Malvern.

Officials say the firefighters' injuries were not very serious -- one has a broken ankle, one had chest pains and another has a back injury.

The fire took about two hours to place under control and the family inside the house got out safely.

Officials say the believe the fire was an accident as an investigation continues.
