PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A car collision in West Philadelphia sends one vehicle sliding half down a street and another straight into a home.

The accident happened just before 3:30 this afternoon on the 6100 block of Ellsworth Street in Cobbs Creek.

"Like wow, I can't believe that car is over there," said Ronald Dennis.

Ronald Dennis' home surveillance system captured the crash on Ellsworth Street.

He had to watch the video a few times to see how the red SUV went airborne and elevated high enough off the ground to skip over a flower bed in front of one home and then slam into the enclosed front porch of another.

"It's just lucky that nobody was killed," said Dennis.

The drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital as this woman, Beverly Johnson, pulled up to her home to see an SUV in it.

"I'm still processing what happened here. This is crazy," said Beverly Johnson. "Apparently this red car hit another car and was trying to get away from them when they hit this car and I guess she lost control and ended up there."

Johnson has no idea what it will cost to repair her home, she says for now, her family is displaced.

"This is what happens when you try to run from responsibility," said Johnson. "Had you just stopped, gave your information and did the right thing in the right manner, none of this would've happened."

(This is a developing story.)
