2nd Arrest Made In Attack On Delivery Driver In SW Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a second suspect has been arrested and charged in the brutal attack of a food delivery driver in Southwest Philadelphia.

Police say on Thursday, authorities executed a search warrant on the 5500 block of Litchfield Street.

Police say the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Brian Jones, jumped out of third floor window and was apprehended by officers in the rear alleyway.

Authorities say he is charged with attempted murder, robbery, kidnapping, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, violation of the uniform firearms act, criminal conspiracy, aggravated assault and related offenses.

Police say Jones is currently awaiting arraignment.

Earlier this month, Donovan Daniels was charged in the assault.
