2016 Democratic Convention Will Be Late July, But in Philadelphia or Elsewhere?

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Democratic National Committee still has not chosen a city to host its 2016 presidential nominating convention, although Philadelphia is still in the running.
But today, DNC officials announced the dates for the gathering.
DNC chairperson Debbie Wasserman Schultz says her party will gather during the week of July 25th, 2016, to choose its next nominee for president.
So the "when" is settled. Still unknown is the "where."
Philadelphia is one of the three finalist cities vying to host the Democrats, along with New York City and Columbus, Ohio.
In her statement, Wasserman Schultz said the party is still in negotiations with all three cities, and top officials here in Philadelphia believe a final decision will come either next week or, more likely, in early February.
The week chosen by the Democrats is just one week after the GOP will hold its nominating convention in Cleveland, Ohio.
