2 Women Jump From Window To Escape Fire In West Oak Lane

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Two women were forced to leap from a second story window to get away from flames that were tearing through their home.

Firefighters say a 17-year-old is being treated for smoke inhalation, and a 30-year-old woman broke her ankle after the jump.

The fire broke out around 3:30 Tuesday morning on the 7800 block of Michener Avenue, not far from Ogontz and Cheltenham in West Oak Lane.

Investigators are looking for the cause of the fire.
