2 Women Allegedly Stabbed Worker Who Accused Them Of Stealing From Center City Store

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police are searching for two young women who allegedly stabbed a woman who confronted them about stealing from a Center City store.

Police say the two suspects took some items from a Five Below on Chestnut Street around 6 p.m. on April 8th.

When a store employee went outside to try to get the items back, both suspects pulled out knives and stabbed the store employee in the neck and back.

Both suspects were last seen running away on 16th Street near Ranstead Street.

The employee was taken to an area hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Police were able to get pictures of both suspects from social media, and are asking for the public's help finding them.
