2 Teens Shot In Atlantic City Casino

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS) – Police say two 16-year-old males were shot late Thursday night inside the Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.

Officers responded to the 47th floor around 11:15 pm after receiving reports of shots being fired.

Shortly after, the two teenagers showed up to area hospitals with gunshot wounds. It was later determined they were the ones who were shot at the casino. Police say their injuries are non-life threatening.

A 17-year-old  was arrested after being found in possession of a handgun, police say, and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon among other charges.

The investigation is ongoing and more people could be charged, according to police.
