2 People Critically Injured After New Jersey Transit Bus, Car Collide In Center City

PHILADELPHIA (CBS/AP) - A New Jersey Transit bus and a car collided, injuring two people in Philadelphia. The crash happened around 11:56 p.m. Wednesday at 11th and Market Streets in Center City.

The force of the impact caused the car's airbags to deploy.

The driver of the car and a passenger in that vehicle were being treated at a hospital for undisclosed injuries that were described as critical, but their names and further details on their conditions were not disclosed.

No one aboard the bus was injured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
