2 More Plead Guilty In Jeweler's Row Abduction

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Two more people involved in a botched robbery and kidnapping on Jeweler's Row in Center City earlier this year pleaded guilty Wednesday.

On April 4th, 35-year-old Salahudin Shaheed and 24-year-old Basil Buie tried to rob National Watch and Diamond Exchange along with 31-year-old Khayree Gay.

The suspects assaulted one of the store employees in a garage, then kidnapped her. They took keys and demanded a code to the company's safe from the victim. The victim then sustained hours of torture.

Shaheed and Buie pleaded guilty to Conspiracy, Kidnapping, and Attempted Hobbs Act Robbery. Gay had already pleaded guilty.

A sentencing hearing for Buie and Shaheed is scheduled for early next year.
