2 Men Seriously Injured In Trenton Stabbings

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Two men were hospitalized with serious injuries suffered in separate stabbings that occurred in New Jersey's capital city.

Trenton police say both stabbings occurred early Sunday, and no arrests have been made in either incident.

The first stabbing occurred at a house party, when a verbal dispute between a man and a woman turned physical. The man then stabbed a 47-year-old city man, who suffered lacerations to the face and head.

He was hospitalized in serious, but stable condition.

The second stabbing occurred during a fight involving "numerous" people who had been watching a soccer match. During the brawl, a 24-year-old man was stabbed in the arm.

He was hospitalized in critical, but stable condition.
