2 Killed, 2 Injured In 3 Separate Philadelphia Shootings

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A total of four people were shot, two of them fatally, in three separate incidents late Wednesday night throughout Philadelphia.

Police say a 27-year-old man was shot in the face just after 11 p.m. near Germantown Avenue and West Westmoreland Street in North Philadelphia.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Also around 11 p.m., a shooting occurred in the 700 block of South 60th Street in West Philadelphia.

Police say a man had no identification on him was shot and killed.

And just after 10:30 p.m. a double shooting occurred in the 1800 block of North Bucknell Street in North Philadelphia.

According to police, two men stated they were sitting outside a home when someone shot them for "no reason." Both victims were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

All three shooting are under investigation.
