2 Injured In West Philly Motorcycle Accident

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Two people were injured early Friday morning in an accident involving a motorcycle and a car in University City.

This happened around 12:30 a.m. on the 500 block of University Avenue.

The 26-year-old man who was operating the motorcycle was thrown off and investigators say he was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and is in stable condition.

A 21-year-old passenger was also taken to the hospital. She, too, is in stable condition.
