1 Student Injured In Crash Involving School Bus In North Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- One student sustained minor injuries in a crash involving a school bus in Philadelphia Thursday morning.

The accident happened shortly before 7:30 a.m. at 4th and Cambria Streets in North Philadelphia.

Chopper 3 HD was over the scene shortly after the accident where it showed a standard yellow school bus and another vehicle stopped on the road.

According to school district officials, one student suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The bus was en route to Hunter Elementary School on N. Front Street. The other students on the bus were eventually taken to school.

The crash remains under investigation.
