2 Injured As Fire Rips Through East Mount Airy Home

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Officials say two people were taken to the hospital after a fire late Thursday night at a home in the East Mount Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia.
The blaze broke out at around 11:45 p.m. at the home on the 300 block of East Upsal Street.
Officials say both victims were taken to Einstein Hospital suffering from smoke inhalation and burns to their arms and hands.
Crews were able to place the fire under control quickly.
There's no word yet on a cause.
