2 Delaware Women Charged After Allegedly Keeping More Than 50 Cats In Deplorable Conditions

MIDDLETOWN, Del. (CBS) -- Two New Castle County women are facing charges after they're accused of keeping dozens of cats in deplorable conditions. Fifty-six cats were removed from the property in Middletown.

Investigators charged Cheryl Joseph and Amy Wood with neglect.

One of the cats had to be euthanized.

The Brandywine Valley SPCA is taking care of the rest of them until they are ready to be adopted.
