2 Arrests Made In Assault Of Woman In Camden

CAMDEN, N.J., (CBS) -- Police announced two arrests have been made in connection with the assault of a woman in Camden, New Jersey.

Camden County Police say Quameer Hence, 23, of Camden, and Miguel Nunez, 36, of Camden, were arrested Thursday in the city after search warrants were executed.

Police say the incident is believed to have occurred near Mt. Ephraim Avenue in the area of Sheridan and Jackson Streets late Monday or early Tuesday.

The victim, who walked to Virtua Hospital following the attack, remains at Cooper University Hospital where she is being treated, according to police.

Police say Nunez is charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault, Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. He has been remanded to the county jail with bail set at $400,000 cash or bond.

Hence is charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault, Robbery and Aggravated Assault. He has been remanded to the county jail with bail set at $300,000 cash or bond.
