2 Arrested After 38 Cats Removed From Minivan

ATLANTA, GA. (CNN) -- Two women were arrested after officials had to remove 38 cats from what they described as a filthy minivan.

Officials say the cats were living in the van in Sandy Springs, which is north of downtown Atlanta.

According to officials, four of the cats are too sick to be adopted, however, 34 are ready for adoption.Officials say the two women were arrested for probation violation related to a previous hoarding case.
