18-Year-Old Shot 5 Times Inside Germantown Store, Critical

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say an 18-year-old man is in critical condition after he was shot multiple times Saturday afternoon in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.

This happened just after 3 p.m. inside a store located on the 5200 block of Germantown Avenue.

Police say the victim was shot five times, including once in the face. He was taken to Einstein Hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Police believe the shooter is a black male who fled the scene in a Honda Santa Fe with a burgundy top and a grey bottom. They say the vehicle was being driven by a black woman and was last seen heading eastbound on Ashmead Street.

No weapons have been recovered and no arrests have been made at this time.
