16 People Displaced After Fire In Del. Trailer Park

DOVER, Del. (CBS) – A fire that destroyed three trailers and displaced 16 people in Dover is under investigation.

Officials say the blaze was reported around 2:30 a.m. in the Grandview Mobile Home Park on North Little Creek Road.

Firefighters arrived on scene and found a trailer engulfed in flames and two adjacent trailers also on fire.

Nine people, including six children, were able to escape the initial trailer fire, and five people in an adjacent home also got out.

Fire damage was estimated at $30,000.

The Red Cross is providing the families with emergency shelter and supplies.
