1 Person Killed In Vineland Bus Accident Enroute to Philadelphia Flower Show

VINELAND, N.J. (CBS) -- A woman in Vineland was struck and killed by a commercial bus Monday morning.

It happened in the parking lot of a shopping plaza near South Lincoln Avenue and Dante Avenue, around 8:30 a.m.

Vineland Police say a Sheppard tour bus was leaving the plaza when Myriam Roman crossed in front of the bus and was struck.

The bus was unoccupied at the time of the crash and no other injuries were reported.

The bus was scheduled to leave Vineland and head to the Philadelphia Flower Show.

The accident remains under investigation.
