1 Killed, 3 Others Hurt In Chester Shooting

CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) - Police say four people were shot, one of them fatally, late Thursday night in Chester, Delaware County.

This happened just before 11:30 p.m. near 3rd and Palmer Streets.

According to police, two gunman fired over 30 rounds at the victims on the sidewalk.

A 21-year-old man was struck multiple times and was pronounced dead on the scene. Two juveniles, the youngest a 14-year-old, and a 47-year-old man were also struck. The three of them were taken to Crozer Chester Medical Center. There's no word yet on their conditions.

The 21-year-old's cousin tells CBS 3 Eyewitness News this is not the first time this family has had to deal with tragedy. The victim's mother lost another son within the last year.

This was the seventh homicide in Chester this year.
