PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Police say one man was killed and another critically injured in a shooting at a northeast Philadelphia playground, one of three homicides in the city.

Officers responded at about 10:30 p.m. Friday to the shooting in the Frankford section and found a 24-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead, and a 27-year-old man was taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds to the back and abdomen.

At about the same time in northwest Philadelphia, an 18-year-old man was found on the street with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced dead minutes later.

Just after 2 p.m. Friday in west Kensington in north Philadelphia, a 52-year-old reportedly shot as he was on his way to his car and died at a hospital.
