WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) -- One person was injured after a pick-up truck rear-ended a snow plow in South Jersey Friday morning.

The crash happened at about 6:40 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the Atlantic City Expressway in Winslow Township.

Chopper 3 HD was over the scene shortly after the crash where it showed a pick-up truck with heavy front-end damage in the shoulder of the left lane. A short distance away, in front of the truck, was a plow truck.

Authorities say one person was air-lifted from the scene to Cooper University Hospital for unknown injuries. It is believed the injured individual was in the pick-up truck.

The investigation and clean-up created a traffic delay along the Expressway.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
