1 Injured In Gloucester County House Fire

GIBBSTOWN, N.J. (CBS) -- One person was hospitalized after a house fire in Gloucester County early Thursday morning.

The fire started at about 6:30 a.m. in a home in the 200 block of Swedesboro Avenue in Gibbstown, N.J.

Chopper 3 was over the scene shortly after the fire started where it showed thick smoke and flames billowing from the home.

The fire was placed under control at about 7:15 a.m.

A resident inside the home was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center with unknown injuries. Their condition was not immediately known.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
