Police: 2 Dead, Another Injured After Vehicle Hits Parked Cars, Overturns Onto Building

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a man and woman were killed after a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed hit two parked vehicles and overturned onto a building in the Lawncrest section of Philadelphia.

The accident happened on the 6400 block of Oxford Avenue shortly before 4 p.m. on Thursday.

Police say a vehicle hit two parked cars, a tree and a building. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene while the man was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center in extremely critical condition and later died.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
