1 Injured By Downed Wires In South Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Crews are investigating after officials say a one person was shocked by wires in South Philadelphia late Friday morning.

Chopper 3 was over the scene of the incident on the 2200 block of Fitzwater Street.

Authorities say a 29-year-old man was taken to Presbyterian Hospital in unknown condition.

PECO confirms there are wires down in the area and there may be a few outages. They say they are on their way to make repairs.
