Elderly Driver Crashes Vehicle Into Bustleton Deli
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Emergency responders rushed to the scene after a vehicle crashed through a deli in the Bustleton section of the city late Wednesday afternoon.
Chopper 3 was over the scene of Steve Stein's Famous Deli & Restaurant located on the 1600 block of Grant Avenue.
The driver of the vehicle, who is said to be 86-years-old, was taken to Aria Torresdale Hospital as a precaution.
While 20 people were reportedly inside the deli, there were no injuries to any of them.
L&I has deemed the building structurally stable.
It's not yet clear what caused the crash.
