Man, 76 Dies After Upper Moreland Twp. House Fire

UPPER MORELAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) – A man has died one day after flames ripped through a home in Upper Moreland Township on Sunday evening.

Crews arrived to the 2700 block of Veser Lane in Upper Moreland Township, around 6 p.m.

Firefighters were able to gain control of the blaze a short time later.

A 76-year-old man was taken to the hospital after suffering from cardiac arrest. Authorities tell CBS3 the man died on Monday afternoon.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

Authorities have not identified the 76-year-old man at this time.
