1 Dead Following Accident Involving Police Car In Lehigh County

LEHIGH COUNTY, Pa. (CBS) -- One person is dead following a crash involving a police car in Lehigh County on Monday afternoon.

A Palmer Township Police cruiser collided with another car near the Palmer Park Mall at Nazareth Road and Park Avenue.

Both vehicles suffered heavy damage.

Authorities say one person died in the crash.

There is no word on that person's identity.
