1 dead, 2 injured in triple shooting in Southwest Philadelphia: police

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police identified a 21-year-old man killed in a triple shooting in Cobbs Creek Friday night.

The shooting happened before 9 p.m. on the 5600 block of Baltimore Avenue.

The victim was identified as Michael Goodwin, 21, of Kingsessing. Goodwin was taken to a hospital by medics and later pronounced dead around 9:07 p.m.

Two teenagers were also hurt in the shooting.

Police say a 17-year-old was shot once in the right shoulder and was placed in extremely critical condition.

A 16-year-old was shot twice in the right thigh and had two graze wounds on the back of the head. He was hospitalized in stable condition.

All three were taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center by medics.

Police say no arrests have been made at this time and no weapons were recovered.

Police have not said what led to the shooting.
