1 Dead, 1 Injured After Car Slams Into Tree Along Roosevelt Boulevard

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- One person is dead and another was injured overnight after a single car crash along Roosevelt Boulevard in the Lawncrest section of the city.
It happened around 3 a.m. Saturday in the northbound lanes near Adams Avenue.
Police say the driver lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a tree.
One person was killed in the crash.
A second victim was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center in unknown condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
