4 Injured In Yonkers Shooting
YONKERS, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Multiple people were shot in Yonkers on Thursday.
It happened around 4:15 p.m. near Elm Street and Oak Street in a neighborhood known as the Trees.
Police say a group of people was standing outside a bodega on the corner when a sedan drove by and someone opened fire.
Three men and one woman were struck by bullets.
All four victims were taken to local hospitals. One victim was last reported to be in serious condition. The other three victims are in stable condition.

CBS2's Tony Aiello reports there are preliminary concerns it may have been a gang-related shooting.
The public is being asked to avoid the area.

The shooting happened just around the corner from where a 6-year-old boy was shot in the chest in April. He survived.
Mayor Mike Spano says the gun violence seen in New York and all across the country is a huge concern. He's going to have heightened police patrols in the neighborhood for the next couple of days.
